It is discomforting to see the state's Judicial Branch suffer reduced appropriations and struggle to select the victims of an $11 million budget cut. According to Chief Court Administrator Barbara Quinn, the slice will harm operations already in need of additional funding. The executive squeeze on the judiciary is unnecessary.
