When I applied to write this column, I took a calculated risk sending to the iLaw Tribune/i the version of my résumé containing gritty details of my checkered employment career. There, in black and white, were the items that I would otherwise push under the carpet: my career in the music business; the fact that I fumbled around as a paralegal for a decade or so before I got my act together to go to law school; and my dubious sidelight as a riding instructor.
