ABA Continues Untruth-In-Advertising

Last summer I wrote of the ABA's marked decline in membership and considerable loss of prestige and influence on the matter of judicial nominations. Well-documented instances of offensive tactics used by ABA officials to skew ratings of conservative judicial nominees revealed the ABA for what it had become mdash; a left-wing lobby. The ABA suffered an embarrassing loss of credibility and made itself virtually irrelevant in the judicial vetting process. The ABA still proclaims opinions on the qualifications of nominees but what it has to say is pretty much on Washington D.C.'s "who cares?" list.
