All Aboard The Apology Train? Not Geraldine

The Connecticut Law Tribune

April 7, 2008

An amusing line came from a favorite actress (what ever became of Paula Prentiss?). Upon hearing a "Stepford wife" profusely apologize for goofy behavior at a garden party, purportedly on account of alcohol excess (actually her internal computer had malfunctioned), Prentiss's character quipped, "If I had to apologize for every time I got smashed, I'd be running around saying 'emI'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorrrry /em?'" Only the wry Prentiss could deliver that line.
