Some leaders duck the tough issues. And some confront them head on. The Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence has helped change laws and educate the bar on behalf of abused women. Fran Brady saw military veterans being treated poorly upon their return home and stepped forward to organize help. Mark DuBois launched the office that weeds out dishonest lawyers and helps those who are simply struggling. We’ll honor these roll-up-the-sleeves efforts June 14th at the Law Tribune’s annual Honors Night ceremony at the New Haven Lawn Club.
