Connecticut General Statutes §9-360 prohibits a voter from voting twice in the same election. Registrar of Voters Janice  Gionfriddo alleged that Dawn Wilson Jones might have voted both by presidential ballot in the Town of West Hartford and in person in the City of Middletown in the Nov. 6, 2012, election. The State Elections Enforcement Commission investigated Gionfriddo's allegations. On Nov. 6, 2012, Jones went to Middletown, Conn., where she was registered to vote, and asked whether she could change her voter registration to West Hartford. Her name was crossed off, as though she had voted in Middletown, although she did not vote then. Jones voted by presidential ballot in West Hartford, Conn. Jones did not cast two ballots, as alleged, and the commission dismissed the complaint.
