    Litchfield will be better off without the little grey courthouse.

    But do judges really need offices that are even more inaccessible to the public than they are now? Heaven forfend that the gods of justice or injustice should have to come in contact with mere undeified non-attorney mortals.

    And even more plexiglass and other gratuitous security to segregate clerks and other staff from the great unwashed as they greet patrons? Patrons indeed!
