There is something perversely delightful about the state Supreme Court's decision in the case of State v. Lishan Wang. Call it the revenge of informed consent in legal ethics.

    What??? Norm Pattis agreeing with the status quo? Hmmm... folding? Maturing, maybe? A lightening of the wallet brought on by pro se litigants? What doest thou think about the professional arrogance or some lesser form of madness that is sometimes found among counsel? More importantly, what am I to make of my own assessment that all one needs to do is wet one‘s finger, raise it in the air to determine which way the wind is blowing, and one can be assured that you, dear Norm, are going in the opposite direction? For the first time ever, I find you unpredictable! The world as I know it has ended.
